Conference & Banqueting Manager
We are recruiting for the position of Conference & Banqueting Manager.
This is a hands-on role with the successful applicant required to be on the floor managing the events from beginning to end.

- An experienced individual who has a proven track record in managing large events in a busy conference centre or hotel that caters to large weddings and conferences
- An excellent people manager who is capable of managing a large team to ensure sufficient preparation and service
- A team player who is always willing to assist with functions but also in other areas of the hotel as required
- A person who is highly motivated and is driven by a passion for providing excellent customer service
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and have positive attitude
- Passionate about hospitality and excellent service
- Must be available Monday-Sunday
- Flexible with hours to include a range of shifts including weekends depending on business demands
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management and organisational skills
Main Duties:
- To ensure that our guests receive excellent service during banquets, weddings, conferences & events
- Devise weekly rosters for the C&B team in line with business requirements
- Engage with guests at all times to ascertain the service being provided and act upon feedback
- Devise and implement SOP’s for the department
- Train team members on SOP’s and continuously carry out training to ensure consistency of our standards
- Motivate and create engaging work environment within the department
